This is a quick shot of the garden near our site for this falls comprehensive project (culinary arts school). The garden is monitored by Haley House, a non profit organization devoted to providing the community with food with a purpose. All the vegetables and herbs are used in the existing public schools cafeteria; a great example of self reliance. These attempts to bring localized food to public school environments is a growing initiative. It just makes sense. Its more affordable, dependable, and fresh. ~I sense inspiration for the development of this culinary arts school.
